Mary and Gary Wilson phone it in from San Diego, CA. Gary emerged from New York's DIY movement with 1977's proto-New Wave masterpiece 'You Think You Really Know Me', an extraordinary record which has been known to suck unprepared new listeners in like a drug and never let go. His brand of eccentric, experimental rock was too ahead of its time for the 70s, however so he simply vanished until Motel Records hired a private investigator to find him in the early 2000s. Whatever you expect this to sound like, it doesn't. Truly soul-baring, heart-rending stuff, likened by one fan to the sounds of a Russian exorcism.
