Spencer Sult phones it in from Olympia, WA. Named after a monster from a Sult family fable, Generifus (the musical entity, that is) recalls a more widely known folktale, in Aesop's adage that you're known by the company you keep. And what company! Karl Blau produced Spencer's first album, his roommates are in LAKE- perhaps the most inspiring band around today- and PWRFL Power's Kazutaka Nomura will be releasing his next EP.

OK, sure, but what about the music? Well, if there's anything new and exciting in post-Microphones folk, this is it.
