Death balladeer Marissa Nadler phones it in from Cambridge, MA prior to a show. Alternating between a 6- and 12-string guitar, everything about her music is beautiful and dark, like a modern Maybelle Carter. She got her shy start with an incredible cover of Pearls Before Swine's 'Ballad To An Amber Lady' on the Tom Rapp tribute album, 'For The Dead In Space' on Secret Eye, and has only gotten better since.
