Comic book artist and antifolker Jeff Lewis phones it in from Brooklyn, NY. Jeff's talking blues and punky sci-fi lo-fi are torrential- Joyceian, really- filled to the brim with nearly overwhelming mental detail and moving sentiment in the unlikeliest cracks. From daily mundanities to Big Questions, startling poignancies to, say, the history of punk rock on the Lower East Side, no one sounds like Jeff.
Past and present collaborators include Kimya Dawson, Diane Cluck, his brother Jack, and experimental music collective Guitar Situations.
Mostly tentatively-titled, new songs!
