Justin Ringle, Nathan Crockett, and Sam Cooper phone it in from the Kill Rock Stars office in Portland, OR. Of course, the Iron & Wine comparisons are inevitable- the voice, the beard- but ultimately superficial. Justin's songs are more soulful, less subdued, though no less steeped in the same deep well of Americana as Beam's. Yet, as simple and satisfying as good stories well told. If you think there's some catch to a folk band being on KRS, think again. Horse Feathers don't fuck around.
