Dan Melchior (formerly of the Broke Revue, now foraging solo) phones it in from Manhattan, NY, to play music, recite poetry, and read stories. He's collaborated with Billy Childish and Holly Golightly, but his twisted take on the traditional is wholly unique, a kind of bitter roots music shoved down the throats of the punk rockers, "an oddball amalgamation of hillbilly blues, outlaw folk, cracked psych-pop, Kinks/Beatles Brit-craft, and futuristic post-punk".
