Liz Janes phones in from Indianapolis, IN. Lo-fi lullabies influenced by century old blues, folk songs, prayer music, and punk rock. She's collaborated with Sufjan Stevens, Rafter Roberts, Castanets, Odawas, Bedroom Walls, Black Heart Procession, Create(!), and probably more. The phone makes a lot of performances sound like old 78s, but this one especially could be playing on a hand-cranked gramophone. Absolutely beautiful.
