Their music is pure Americana, with nods to Prohibition (yep, they sing about bootlegging), abandoned buildings, deteriorating farms, and the plight of other forgotten and forsaken things. Picture cob-webbed ballads, ramshackle hymns, and shambolic Midwestern fever-folk.
