Jewelled Antler Collective member Steven R. Smith (Hala Strana, Thuja, Mirza, Ulaan Khol) phones in a rare performance from Los Angeles, CA, featuring both solo and Hala Strana material and some improvisations "all kind of jumbled together." Utterly compelling and simply gorgeous. It's just a room full of instruments, but it seems like a run through hundreds of years of musical history, from Eastern European folk traditions to modern kraut, psych, drone, and noise.
