Danny Clodfelter and Rina Garcia phone it in from Los Angeles, CA. Shark Toys (named in part for the Tronics song 'Shark Fucks') combine Messthetics-style post-punk and lo-fi indiepop in a way that other bands probably claim to, but very few others actually succeed at. It's not hard to see why they've been taken under the wing of the Part-Time Punks club night in LA, and have opened for such legends as the Homosexuals, the Silver Apples, and Calvin Johnson. Naive without being contrived, snotty without being bratty, and above all else FUN, look for big things to come!
