Shenandoah Davis, normally a Seattle resident, phones it in from the road in Berkeley, CA. She had trouble finding a landline phone, so I sent her to my aunt Jane's house, where the upright piano got more attention than it probably has in years. Shenandoah's orchestral pop got stripped down to just voice and piano, a beautiful mix of folk and parlor-style music. She's touring like crazy and has a new album coming out at the end of summer, so keep yours eyes open!

This episode had some serious technical difficulties during the live broadcast, but I've pieced together an edit for the podcast. Hope I did okay.
