No Monster Club phone it in all the way from Dublin, Ireland (although really we're the ones paying the bill) on Independence Day. Bobby Aherne, Mark Chester and Paddy Hanna toned down their usually garagey, jangly pop by using a chord organ and a cardboard box drum, but they achieved the same youthful, summery nostalgia of their records. Their music reminds me of mixtapes my brother made me in middle school when I first fell in love with rock 'n' roll and reminds me why I love it still!
