Chris Hearn phones it in from Newcastle, Australia before embarking on a world tour with Tiger Saw and Castanets. Alps of NSW play heartrending pop songs that sound like Stefan Neville or Clayton Noone playing darkwave music on the ocean floor. I can picture it, Chris setting up his keys at the bottom of some trench, the only light the anglers swimming by, illuminating all manner of strange sea creatures, the man himself included. Claustrophobic and hopeful both, perfect fucking pop music.
