Matt Roth (aka Major Matt Mason USA) and Nan Turner (ex-Bionic Finger) phone it in from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY. Somewhat of a DIY power couple, Matt and Nan also helm the seminal Olive Juice Music label and studio (aka their apartment), out of which has grown one of the most vibrant musical communities I can think of. No joke! The perfect combination of salty and sweet, Schwervon! would be a beloved indiepop band if they weren't a beloved antifolk band. That is, a rose by any other name...would be just as catchy, inventive, and awesome.
